Should I take my home off the market?
First decide what a pause is intended to accomplish.
THE BROKER TEAM · ENRIQUE PELAYO JR.
Name the reason
A pause might create time for repairs, a change in circumstances or a reconsidered move. It should have a purpose, a budget and a decision date—not simply offer relief from an unclear plan.
Verify the next option first
If keeping the home depends on financing or a rental plan, confirm feasibility before changing course. Financing availability can depend on listing history and lender requirements; do not assume taking the home off market solves those conditions.
Coordinate the change
If you are currently represented, discuss your agreement and the proposed change with your broker. Enrique can help organize questions about the next chapter without assuming a new representation arrangement is already available.
This is a starting point for a conversation. Property, financing, tax and legal details need individual review before you act.
How does this apply to you?
Tell Enrique what you’re considering. We can put the relevant options side by side and identify what needs to be confirmed.
